This is another activity that my kids go nuts over!
First print, laminate, and cut out the “magic” vocabulary word cards and have them available at a Word Work center (OR tape them around your room to make it a Write the Room activity). Provide the kids with small mirrors (I got rectangular magnetic mirrors from the dollar store) to hold against the right side of each word card. By looking at the word in the mirror, the word will reverse and students will be able to read and write down the vocabulary word correctly.
BLANK magic word cards are included if you would like to attempt writing your own vocabulary or sight words BACKWARDS!
